• Keeping process machinery clean and grease-free

Used processing equipment contains a lot of machinery parts such as filters and various other parts like seals which will help in cleaning the components and make those equipments contamination-free. Contamination can cause serious damage, water being the major reason for contamination and decay so filters and seals should be checked on a regular basis and should also be replaced to keep functioning of the equipment absolutely optimal by avoiding sudden damages. Also, check the generator or the cylinder to avoid building up the grease.

 

• Lubrication of the machinery habitually  

Lubrication plays an important role in the maintenance of the process machinery further functioning by keeping all the parts working swiftly. Keep track of all the parts from external to all the internal parts of the equipment. Lubricate the parts whenever needed, lubrication will help in reducing the grafting of the moving parts, improve the effectiveness of the machinery parts by using the right lubricant which will help in increasing the life of the equipment. Use different lubricants in different machines.

 

• Keep a check on maintenance records

Each and every moving equipment should be from electrical parts to small parts of the equipment all need to be maintained in a  good condition, you need to make or plan a maintenance table or schedule for lubrication, piston checks, oil tests, and replacements and repair check. Maintaining a pre-planned schedule for maintenance helps in preventing wear and tear damages, easy to identify any breakdowns in advance and also able to know about the small issues which may arise suddenly. By developing a maintenance schedule unnecessary and unexpected damages and risk, and also helps in keeping the working efficient and effective. The equipment when not in use should be kept in a clean environment where there is no exposure to dust, this ill help in preventing rusting or corrosion.
